The Bay Education Center
The Bay Education Center, which is a branch of the Marine Science Institute from the University of Texas at Austin, suffered damage during 2017’s Hurricane Harvey storm that hit Rockport, Texas. A majority of their exhibits were impaired or destroyed beyond use.
Museum Arts worked with the Texas Marine Science Institute and the Aransas County Navigation District to recreate some of the exhibits, and in some instances design and built completely new interactives to be installed in the newly renovated building.
